Get shipping template activation status

Overview

The Get shipping template activation status API allows sellers to retrieve the current activation state of shipping templates at the account level.

Endpoint

GET https://marketplace.walmartapis.com/v3/settings/shipping/templates/activationStatus

Function

This API helps you:

  • Determine whether shipping templates are currently activated
  • Confirm whether template-based shipping is enabled
  • Audit activation timestamps for shipping templates
  • Validate configuration changes after activation
  • Troubleshoot shipping assignment issues

Add authentication

Include a valid OAuth access token:

If your integration requires additional headers (consumer ID, correlation ID, or any other Walmart headers), include them accordingly.

Result

  • activationStatus: Indicates whether shipping templates are active for the seller account.
    • Example: ACTIVATED
  • createdDate: Shows when the shipping template was first enabled.
  • modifiedDate: The most recent update.

If the status is ACTIVATED, the shipping templates are currently governing shipping behavior for items assigned to them.
