Get coverage for fulfillment centers

Overview

The Get coverage for fulfillment centers API retrieves the geographic coverage areas associated with each fulfillment center (ship node) configured under a seller account.

GET https://marketplace.walmartapis.com/v3/settings/shipping/shipnodes/coverage

Function

This API lets you:

  • Identify the regions or state subregions of your fulfillment center
  • Audit fulfillment center coverage setups
  • Validate shipping reach by warehouse
  • Troubleshoot delivery promise inconsistencies
  • Confirm region-to-ship-node mappings

This API returns the coverage configuration for all fulfillment centers associated with the seller.

Include a valid OAuth access token.

If your integration requires additional headers (consumer ID, correlation ID, or other Walmart headers), include them accordingly.

Result

  • Returns a list of all fulfillment centers (ship nodes) associated with the seller.
  • Each entry includes:
    • shipNode: The fulfillment center ID
  • shipNodeName: The unique identifier you assign to a fulfillment center, such as a warehouse, store, or distribution center.
  • coverageArea: List of state subregion codes covered by that node

Interpretation

  • If the coverageArea element is empty (an empty array []), the fulfillment center does not currently have defined coverage.
  • If populated, each value (for example, AR1, CA1, PA4) represents a state subregion serviced by that fulfillment center.
  • Coverage affects:
    • Shipping eligibility
    • Delivery promise calculation
    • Order routing logic
