Marketplace payment reports overview

The Walmart Payment reports API helps you manage marketplace payouts, balances, and settlements on your account. The API lets you reconcile orders, fees, and deposits to a specific reporting period.

The Payment reports API is used to:

  • Reconcile payouts: Match deposits to order-level activity, adjustments, and fees using the reconciliation report.
  • Automate availability checks: Discover which reconciliation report dates are ready before you download them.
  • Track the current cycle: Generate payment statement details in your current cycle statement.
  • Monitor performance for the cycle: Review payment performance metrics during the current cycle.

You can use the following features to generate reports about your account.


Recon report (Legacy)

The Recon report (Legacy) API generates transaction-level details about your account, such as IDs, adjustments, refunds, commissions, shipping fees, and settlement totals. The recon report is generated in CSV file format for legacy systems that aren’t JSON compatible.

The Recon report JSON Is a report of transactions, payouts, fees, refunds, and other financial activities in the JSON file format.
